For three generations our family has moved Mississippi River sand and Louisiana aggregate across the parish. We got tired of the phone tag, the fake quotes, and the "call me back after lunch" — so we built the price engine and the booking flow ourselves.
The short version.
Riversand started as a single dump truck moving batture dirt for a neighbor. Three generations later we run a small owner-operated fleet across Greater New Orleans, dispatch from three river yards, and answer our own phones from 7 AM to 5 PM.
We built this website because the aggregate trade never joined the internet. Every quote used to start with "let me call you back." Now you drop an address, we look up the closest yard, and show a delivered price good for the next 30 minutes. No account. No callback loop.
Every load is dispatched from our own trucks. We don't broker — the driver who dumps your load works for us, and if something goes wrong, the number you call is the same number that answers.
